July 2006 - Couture Designer of the year 2006 - this precious award was rewarded to our designs by UK brides, who voted in a campaign, organized by one of the greatest UK bridal shows - Yorkshire Brides. The award was granted at this year awards ceremony in Harrogate, Northern Yorkshire. This comes to culminate a creative partnership between our head designer Klara Nicharova and the head designer from our UK partners and representatives Brides International - Paula French. Below is an excerpt from the UK media coverage of the event.
"Three years ago a unique partnership was set up between Klara Nicharova of Maniyka, Assenovgrad and British Designer Paula French of Brides International. The company has grown from strength to strength as brides worldwide have shown their confidence in the individuality of the Bulgarian designs, culminating in the company being awarded "Designer of the Year" in the prestigious awards ceremony in Harrogate on July 26th this year. Paula French says "I knew we had found something special when I met Klara and our design partnership works because we are both so passionate about delivering the best a bride can dream of."
